Winged Solar has completed a new wave of residential deployments using its compact Sparrow platform, giving homeowners in storm-prone regions a fast, self-contained way to keep the lights on and the water running when the grid goes down.
Each Sparrow unit pairs deployable solar panels with integrated battery storage and an optional water purification module, allowing a household to unfold, anchor, and power up the system in under an hour without a crew or heavy equipment.
“Home resilience isn’t a luxury anymore — it’s basic preparedness,” said a Winged Solar deployment lead. “Sparrow lets a family go from a dead grid to full power and clean water before the storm has even finished passing.”
The latest installations span coastal communities that experienced extended outages during the past storm season, with several more residential deployments scheduled over the coming months as part of the company’s expanding Home Resilience initiative.
